HYBRID ART
AND HUMANITARIAN
AID PROJECT
supported by fundraising to provide
financial help to different aid groups
effected by the war in Ukraine.
Established
by Mark Neville
and Tanya Logacheva
WE BELIEVE THAT
ART CAN HELP
NOT METHAPHORICALLY,
BUT LITERALLY
So we decided to launch a project that aims both to provide real, much needed support and to respectfully document the Ukrainians, through Neville’s images and Logacheva’s stories, as they rebuild their lives, so that the world can better feel, connect and as a result efficiently help.
UKRAINE
STILL NEEDS HELP
When the war began on February 24th 2022 the world reacted with an outpouring of support, love and aid for Ukrainians.
As the war now enters its fourth month, both international and local aid agencies are experiencing a drastic fall off in that support; with donations, with support for refugees, and with contributions on every level.
However, with lives and communities still utterly decimated by the war, the need for that support remains as big as ever.
We feel and see in real terms that the international community is experiencing ‘compassion fatigue’, a reaction to the on-going demands of being compassionate in helping those who are suffering.
NOW MORE THAN EVER
WE NEED TO SHOW
OUR COMMITMENT
AND CONTINUE
OUR SUPPORT
EXTRODINARY UKRAINIANS
The war began unexpectedly for many Ukrainians, changing every single Ukrainian life, with no exceptions.
As people lose their shelter, as they struggle with basic needs such as access to water and warmth, as every feeling of safety and stability has been shattered, the ordinary lives of Ukrainian have become extraodinary.
Now, after the initial shock of invasion may have begun to wear off for some, Ukrainians face a new, everyday challenge.
How do we carry on living whilst our country is still at war and as we fight for our very existence?
How can we find shelter in a new city? How do we settle our children in a new school?
How can we get jobs or even embark on a new profession?
How do we choose what to repair first: a damaged house or a damaged body?
