Help the Nation’s Adaptation Centre is based at their temporary shelter in Zaporizhzhia.  The renovation of the 100 m² room, is designed to create a functional space for social and psychological support, including educational seminars, legal consultations, social support and document restoration assistance.  The project with Postcode Ukraine helped to finance the final finishing work including furniture, presentation equipment and equipment for coffee breaks.

The Adaptation centre will create a resource base for 800-1000 residents housed by the Zaporizhzhia Shelter Association.  It will support 200 residents of the shelter and Houses of Mercy, who have been evacuated from Donetsk villages.  Residents will be able to access support adapting to living in a city, accessing social support, finding jobs and with psychological recovery from trauma and PTSD.
