Animal Rescue Kharkiv provides essential veterinary treatment for animals rescued from frontline and heavily affected settlements in the Kharkiv region. Grant funding from Postcode Ukraine supported the purchase of medicines and medical supplies required for examinations, diagnostics, treatment and, where necessary, surgery. The project primarily serves abandoned, injured and displaced animals left without owners or homes as a result of the war.

Approximately 350 rescued animals received comprehensive medical care, from initial examination and diagnostics through treatment, surgery where required, and recovery. The intervention improves survival and rehabilitation outcomes and increases the animals’ chances of safe rehoming.
