Masha Fund provides community-based peer support groups for women affected by war, displacement, loss and prolonged stress in Kamianske, Pervomaiske, Bakhmach and Odesa. Groups are facilitated by trained women from the same communities, creating accessible and trusted spaces where participants can share experiences, develop coping strategies and receive emotional support. Each programme cycle consists of eight structured weekly sessions with ongoing methodological guidance and supervision from Masha Fund.
Four cohorts of 10 women each — 40 women in total — will participate in eight structured sessions. The programme aims to improve psychosocial wellbeing and coping capacity, reduce isolation, strengthen social connections, reduce stigma around psychological support and establish sustainable local peer-support networks. Outcomes are measured through pre- and post-programme assessments.
